Beschreibung

Die Serratia peptidase oder Serrapeptase ist ein proteolytisches Enzym, das durch die Bakterie Serratia, die im Darm der Seidenraupe lebt, produziert wird. Die Serrapeptase wird seit mehr als dreißig Jahren erfolgreich in Europa und Asien zur Linderung von Schmerzen, Inflammationen und überschüssigen Schleimausscheidungen verwendet. Mehr als vierzig Studien haben ihre positiven Effekte aufgezeigt. Besonderst wertvoll hat sich Serrapeptase bei Durchblutungsstörungen bewiesen.

¤ Serrapeptase reduziert die Inflammation. Klinische Studien zeigen, dass Serrapeptase wirksam auf eine ganze Skala von Entzündungskrankheiten wirkt und insbesondere die Ödeme, die Folgeerscheinungen von Traumata sind, behandelt. Serrapeptase besitzt entzündungshemmende Eigenschaften, die denen von Salicylaten, Ibuprofen und nicht steroidalen Schmerzmitteln (AINS) ähnlich sind. 

¤ Serrapeptase wird erfolgreich bei der Behandlung von Entzündungskrankheiten der Nase, der Ohren und des Hals verwendet. Studien haben ihr Interesse besonders bei der Behandlung von chronischer Sinusitis hervorgerufen, wo sie die Ausscheidung von bronchopulmonalen Sekretionen (Schleim) verbessert. 

¤ Serrapeptase stärkt die Aktivität von Antibiotika und kämpft gegen die Bakterienresistenz. 

¤ Serrapeptase wird erfolgreich bei der Behandlung von Brustzysten verwendet.

¤ Die Serrapeptase verdauut die toten Gewebe. Auf diese Weise befreit sie die Seidenraupe aus ihrem Kokon. Die Blutklümpchen, die Faserschichten, die die atheromatöse Plaque bilden, die Zysten sind auch tote Gewebe, die die Serrapeptase verdauen kann. Der deutsche Arzt Hans Nieper hat sie zur Behandlung von Arterienverstopfungen verwendet. Er empfiehlt insbesondere, dieses Enzym im Fall von Okklusionen der Halsschlagader, wenn die traditionellen chirurgischen Maßnahmen zu riskant sind, zu verwenden. Doppler-Untersuchungen, die nach einer einjährigen Behandlung realisiert wurden, haben eine ausgezeichnete Verbesserung des Blutflusses in den Karotidarterien gezeigt .

Serrapeptase-Enzyme werden schon länger Patienten empfohlen, die unter einem Verschluss der Koronararterien leiden. Eingesetzt werden sie ferner bei rheumatoider Arthritis und anderen Autoimmunerkrankungen, die mit Infektion einhergehen, wie ulcerative Colitis, Psoriasis, Uveitis, Allergien und manche Krebsformen. Bewährt hat das Enzym sich ebenfalls bei chronischer Sinusitis, der Entfernung von bronchiopulmonaren Exkretionen, idiopathischen Ödemen und postoperativen Infektionen. Vereinfacht ausgedrückt soll Serrapeptase für „Aufräumarbeiten“ nicht lebender Gewebe aller Art bestens geeignet sein. 

Es handelt sich dabei um ein proteolytisches Enzym der Seidenraupe, das alle nicht lebenden Gewebe wie Blutverklumpungen, Zysten, arteriosklerotische Plaques und Infektionsherde auflöst. Für eine ähnliche Aufgabe – nämlich die Auflösung des Kokons – wird es auch von der Raupe selbst benutzt. 

Serrapeptase gilt deswegen als gute Alternative zu Salicylaten (Aspirin), Ibuprofen, NSAIDS und Steroiden. Zwar verbessern oben genannte Medikamente (  Salicylaten (Aspirin), Ibuprofen, NSAIDS und Steroiden ) die Symptomatik wie Schmerz und Schwellungen, aber ihre grundsätzliche Wirkungsweise gilt inzwischen als sehr bedenklich, sogar kontraproduktiv, weil sie immunsupressiv arbeiten, auf Dauer also eher schaden als nutzen. Daher, nehmen Sie Serrapeptase !!

Bereits 1984 beschrieb eine Untersuchung die vorteilhafte Wirkung von Serrapeptase bei operativen Eingriffen (Tachibana H, Mizukosi O, Harada Y, Kawamoto K, Nakai Y, Pharmatherapeutica, 3 (8): 526–530, 1984). Weitere Untersuchungen bestätigten diesen Befund. 1989 wurde bei Einnahme von Serrapeptase eine erhebliche Besserung nach Operation beschrieben. Verglichen wurde mit einer Kontrollgruppe, die die traditionelle Behandlung erfuhr. Hierbei wurden die üblichen Wundschmerzen und -schwellungen beobachtet. (Esch PM, Gerngross H, Fabian A, Fortschr Med, 107 (4): 67.8, 71-72, 1989) 

Bei Arteriosklerose soll Serrapeptase die (nicht lebenden) Plaques allmählich auflösen, ohne das darum herum befindliche gesunde Gewebe anzugreifen. Da Serrapeptase nicht mit Cholesterin interagiert, kann es während der Behandlung sogar zu einem Anstieg der Cholesterinwerte kommen, da zusätzliches Cholesterin aus den Ablagerungen freigesetzt wird. (Cholesterin an sich ist ein körpereigenes Antioxidans.) Während für die entzündungshemmende Wirkung der Serrapeptase wissenschaftlich untermauerte Hinweise sprechen, ist die antiarteriosklerotische eher anekdotisch. 

Man empfiehlt normalerweise 5–30 mg Serrapeptase täglich. In akuten Fällen (Verschluss) dosieren Therapeuten bis zu 20 mg 6-mal täglich. Zur Reinigung der Blutgefäße benutzt man häufig 2–3 x 20 mg täglich. Immer auf leeren Magen einnehmen.

The particular enzyme activity of Serrapeptase is unique. German Dr. Hans Napier, had positive results with clearing blocked arteries and preventing the need for by-pass operations. In other words, it is effective and safe as an arterial chelation agent.

Dr. Napier also treated a woman with Serrapeptase who was scheduled to have her hand amputated. She recovered without the amputation.

This miracle enzyme works in even more ways. It is able to dissolve and break down the fibrin by-products of blood coagulation, thereby controlling blood clotting. Current research suggests it can even dissolve the fibrin coating that tumors develop to keep themselves from being spotted by the immune system.

This dissolving action gets rid of arterial plaque without harming the insides of arteries. Serrapeptase stops pain by dissolving and inhibiting the release of amines, the proteins that send the pain signal. It also facilitates the draining of excessive fluid in tissues that may cause swelling and pain.


Serrapeptase has been a standard medicine among unrestricted real healers for the past 30 years in the East and more recently in Europe. It has been found to be more effective and less problematic than the more common medical use of EDTA (ethylenediamine tetra-acetic acid) chelation for removing arterial plaque.

If cholesterol’s biosynthesis is hampered, long term health such as dementia and others come about.

In addition to its cardiovascular uses, serrapeptase has been used successfully to treat arthritis, fibrocystic breast disease, lung problems, sinus problems, carpal tunnel syndrome, and sports injuries.

Some recommend serrapeptase as an anti-aging agent simply because much of aging has to do with the accumulation of scar tissue, inflammation and disregulation.

Disregulation occurs when the inflammation process loses discrimination and no longer differentiates between harmful and benign substances. After that, inflammation leads to long term autoimmune problems.



It’s Safe Enough to Trust Anecdotal Reports

There are many anecdotal reports of aches and pains vanishing from people’s lives after using serrapeptase. This natural enzyme does not suppress the immune system, and there are no known side effects, not even indigestion.

There are many sources of serrapeptase in both capsule and tablet form available online and in health food stores.Most holistic practitioners recommend that heavy doses be taken at first until a positive change occurs. Then taper off to a lighter dose.

So why is serrapeptase not a household term after being used for 30 years and found effective, safe and inexpensive?
